Apple's new store at Marina Bay Sands opens this Thursday. However, it's by appointment only. Fret not, let us take you on a tour inside this remarkable new store. Like all other Apple Stores, it's architecturally impressive and lavishly furnished.

Marina Bay Sands is huge. The entrance to the store is at B2, next to Zara. It's at the end of MBS that's further from the ArtScience Museum and Helix Bridge, and closer to Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC).

3/17

Step through the entrance and you'll be greeted by this long avenue that lined with iPhones and various accessories. Like Apple Orchard Road and Apple Jewel Changi Airport, there are two levels.

4/17

Can't decide between the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro? The Apple Store is the place to go to remove all your doubts. All models of iPhones are all on display and you can go back and forth comparing them to your heart's content.

5/17

I heard you were looking for a new iPhone case.

6/17

Looking for a new strap to dress up or dress down your Apple Watch? Apple Marina Bay Sands has you covered.

7/17

Unsurprisingly, Beats products feature heavily in the store too.

8/17

At the end of the avenue is a escalator that leads up to the second level of the store where more Apple goodies await.

9/17

The escalator brings you up to the second floor and inside the large glass dome. Here, you'll find other Apple products – more iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and iMacs. Oh, and as you'll see later, the view isn't bad either.

10/17

The space inside is imposing and lets you admire the architecture in all its glory. The entire structure is self-supporting, which means there are no pillars, so the space is very airy. The all-glass dome is made out of 114 pieces of glass and are held together by 10 mullions.

11/17

Sunshade rings provide shelter from the sun in the day and are used to create lighting effects at night. As I mentioned, the space feels expansive and airy – very unlike any other retail space in Singapore.

12/17

If the furniture looks familiar, that's because it's either identical or styled similar to those used in other Apple Stores. This is to create a look that's familiar and consistent. Step into any Apple Store around the world and you'll feel at home.

13/17

You can try out all the Apple Watches here and see how they look like with various straps.

14/17

Want to find out if the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is worth its hefty price tag? You've come to the right place.

15/17

Nestled deep within the store is a special boardroom used for hosting meetings and briefings, particularly with corporate customers. In case you were wondering, the flowers in the room – we were told – are fresh. That's very Apple.

16/17

As I mentioned earlier, the view out of the glass structure isn't bad at all.

17/17

And that concludes our pictorial tour of the new Apple Marina Bay Sands. The store opens this Thursday (10 Sept 2020) but it's going to be by appointment only. To make an appointment, head to the store webpage here.

From Friday onwards, it will be open to both appointments and walk-ins. However, as part of social distancing measures, note that there will be a limit on the number of shoppers in the store.
