Using PCMark05's System scores as a gauge, ASUS pulled ahead of the pack again, and a pattern is starting to arise. ASUS did the best in the 3D workloads on SYSmark 2007 Preview, which explains why its System scores are higher as well. However, the board is overshadowed by Gigabyte's commanding Memory subsystem performance in this test. The DFI also managed to outperform ASUS here, though its CPU and HDD scores were less impressive. Surprisingly, MSI did not manage to hold on to the lead shown in SYSmark 2007 Preview, as it finished PCMark05 with the lowest Memory performance. Surprisingly, MSI had one of the better HDD subsystem scores which sort of helped its overall System performance score to stay competitive.

Remember, all motherboards have had their AMD TLB fix disabled. With the patch fix enabled, users can expect to see a huge drop in Memory performance numbers by more than 1000 points. We did a quick test and Gigabyte's score dropped from 5158 to 4112.
