Disney+ will be streaming the entire Planet of the Apes saga from 2 August. This includes all nine previous films, from the originals to the modern remake films. Headlining this release is undoubtedly the streaming debut of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which was released in theatres earlier this year.

Directed by Wes Ball, the film propels the franchise into new territory, setting events several generations after Caesar’s reign. In this future, apes dominate the world, while humans are relegated to the shadows. The plot follows a young ape's journey as he grapples with a tyrannical leader and questions his understanding of the past, ultimately making decisions that could reshape the future for both apes and humans.
