Don't make a sound in the new trailer for A Quiet Place Part 2
The trailer also shows us what happened to the characters on Day One of the aliens attack.
Paramount Pictures has released an action-packed trailer for The Quiet Place Part 2, giving us a sneak peek at what the world looked like on day one of the alien invasion.
The trailer also shows off more human characters - like Cilian Murphy of Peaky Blinders fame. Murphy’s character seems to think that by this point, humans are more monsters than the actual monsters. Watch it below:
The first movie, A Quiet Place centered on a family (the Abbotts) in a world taken over by monsters that target humans based on the slightest sound they make. It was an incredibly tense horror film, with deft directing by John Krasinski - who has come very far since his paper-pushing days in The Office.
The synopsis reads:
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
The first one didn’t really look like it needed a sequel, but then neither did The Last of Us Part 2, and that game looks amazing. Here’s hoping that the Abbotts make it out alive in this one.
A Quiet Place Part 2 will open up in theatres on March 20, 2020.
