It certainly seems like Maverick hasn’t lost a step since his Top Gun days. In Top Gun: Maverick, he returns after thirty years of service to train a group of Top Gun graduates - one of whom is Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late best friend, Lt. Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw.
The movie is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who has previously directed movies like Tron: Legacy and Oblivion. The film’s cast includes Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Ed Harris, Val Kilmer and Manny Jacinto - among others.
Top Gun: Maverick will be released on June 26, 2020.
