Netflix hits 50 million subscribers

We may not have native access to Netflix over here in Singapore, but the company's latest figures are quite impressive. Netflix's latest financial report has revealed that its subscriber base has grown to 50 million, with 36 million of subscribers from the U.S. (we're sure there are a few Singaporeans who managed to circumvent the geographical restriction among those figures). Netflix is also set to launch in a few European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg) in September, so the numbers are obviously going to increase.
