Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World will land on Disney+ this 28 May, after its theatre run earlier this year.
Directed by Julius Onah, this Brave New World is the latest instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and sees Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie) fully embrace the mantle of Captain America after the events of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series. It also starred Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler (more of a cameo though), Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.
The storyline of Captain America: Brave New World plunges Wilson into a global conspiracy, one that escalates into a high-stakes confrontation with none other than the Red Hulk. While Wilson navigates his new role, he finds himself embroiled in political tension with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by Harrison Ford. This marks Ford's entry into the MCU, adding a layer of gravitas to the unfolding conflict.
For those who missed its theatrical run (or was waiting for its inevitable arrival on Disney+), 28 May marks a date to set your reminders for.
Disney+ is available starting from S$15.98/mth. Click here to watch Captain America: Brave New World on launch day.
