M1 offers unlimited data service for Netflix, Dailymotion and Deezer

M1 has announced its new M1 Entertainment Data service, an add-on for postpaid customers that will give them unlimited local data access to popular video and music streaming services Netflix, Dailymotion and Deezer.

For S$4.90/month for the first six months, M1 post-paid customers will get to enjoy unlimited local data access to Netflix, Dailymotion and Deezer. The normal price of S$9.90 per month will apply thereafter. The registration charge of S$10.70 will also be waived for the customer’s first registration.

“Over-the-top content services have exploded in popularity, giving consumers access to an incredible library of content. M1 Entertainment Data gives customers the peace of mind to enjoy all their favourite videos and music on our advanced 4G+ network anytime, anywhere, without having to worry about excess charges,” said Mr P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer, M1.

As of now, only these three services are covered by Entertainment Data, which means no YouTube or Twitch.
