Dracula's dead - what next?

We might not have good Castlevania games anymore, but this might make up for it.
Netflix’s Castlevania anime series is coming back for a third season on March 5, 2020. After Dracula’s death in Season 2, what could possibly be more of a threat to Alucard, Sypha Belnades and Trevor Belmont? Well, even more demons, of course.

The trailer boasts some fantastic-looking animation and fight sequences - far better than anything we’ve seen in previous seasons. The show also always been unforgiving in its violence and brutal in its combat, but it looks like this season is stepping things up big time.
While the first two seasons largely revolved around a very sympathetic Dracula, monster hunter Trevor Belmont, sorceress Sypha and Dracula’s own son Alucard, season 3 is likely to focus on other monsters in the Castlevania games’ lore. We already see several of these creatures in the trailer - Legion, Malachi and a fire demon.
Castlevania Season 3 will return with a longer episode count (10 episodes), with Warren Ellis returning to write for the show. If nothing else - it’s bound to be a bloody good time.
