By early second quarter of this year, Starhub customers will be able to enjoy high-quality streaming content from Netflix over their connected devices. From viewing content to paying their Netflix charges, it will be a seamless experience for Starhub's valued subscribers!

By early Q2 of this year, StarHub TV subscribers will be able to enjoy Netflix content delivered through the set-top boxes! For StarHub mobile and broadband customers, they will be able to enjoy Netflix services as StarHub has also hopped onto the Netflix Open Connect platform. This initiative allows Netflix to partner with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to deliver high-quality content from its extensive library without overloading the network of the ISPs unnecessarily. This is achieved through a combination of hardware and software services made possible by the close collaboration between Netflix and the ISP. Best of all, customers will be able to pay for Netflix charges via their existing StarHub billing account.
The finer details of this partnership aren’t finalized yet; however, for now, it appears that Singtel has the upper hand as it will be offering free Netflix subscriptions to when they re-contract or sign up for the telco's mobile, fibre internet and/or television services.
