June is upon us, and with it comes a whole new avalanche of TV shows and movies to sort through. It’s almost a bit too much to take in all at once, but that’s where I come in. You don’t have to sort through each streaming service or TV channel’s schedule for the month - I’ve already picked out the binge-worthy options for you!

Thank me later. For now, dig in:

Fuller House: Farewell Season (June 2) - Netflix

Well, it looks like Full House is ending. Again. This sequel to the 1987 sitcom has brought back many of the original show’s stars for several nostalgia-filled seasons, but all good things must come to an end. Maybe we’ll just have to wait a couple decades more for a comeback - ‘Fullest House’ seems too good an opportunity to pass up.

13 Reasons Why: Final Season (June 5) - Netflix

This teen drama has had a dark and controversial run, to say the least - but it’s all over now. What began as an arguably well-intentioned take on mental health has turned into a dark tale of murder and violence. This season, the group’s attempt to frame a classmate for murder has all but fallen apart. Meanwhile, Clay grapples with his own mental health. Poor guy.

Da 5 Bloods (June 12) - Netflix

Academy Award winner Spike Lee’s latest movie is hitting Netflix. Da 5 Bloods centres on four African American Vietnam veterans returning to Vietnam. The group is on a quest to find the remains of their dead squad leader, and some buried treasure while they’re at it. They then, “battle forces of man and nature — while confronted by the lasting ravages of the immorality of the Vietnam War.”

Love, Victor (June 19) - Hulu

This spin-off of the rom-com Love, Simon was originally set to premiere on Disney+, before it was moved to Hulu permanently. The show takes place after Love, Simon and focuses on a new student struggling with his sexual orientation much like Simon - to the point of reaching out to him for help. If you’re into heartwarming journeys of self-discovery, look no further.

Perry Mason (June 21) - HBO

This is a prime candidate for the next great HBO series. This drama adapts the Perry Mason stories in a depression-era Los Angeles setting. A case comes knocking on legendary defense lawyer Perry Mason’s door, and kicks off a relentless pursuit of truth and justice in a broken city. The cast for this is phenomenal, with Matthew Rhys playing Mason and Tatiana Maslany, John Lithgow and Shea Whigham joining him.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (June 26) - Netflix

If you haven’t heard of the Eurovision Song Contest, the video above is going to be more than a little weird for you. The annual international song competition has participating countries submitting original songs to be performed on live television and radio, and afterwards casting votes on the songs to determine a winner. This Netflix movie parodies the competition, following two Icelandic singers who are given the chance to participate in the contest. Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Dan Stevens, Demi Lovato, Graham Norton and more make up the main cast.

Dark: Season 3 (June 27) - Netflix

https://www.youtube.com/embed/KKrUCZ4h9cw

Dark has flown relatively under the radar, despite widespread critical and fan acclaim. That might be due to the fact that it’s a German language sci-fi drama - but if you can get past the one-inch barrier of subtitles, you might end up loving it. The release date trailer’s description reads: The time-twisting madness reaches its conclusion in a strange new world, where some things are quite familiar — and others are disturbingly not. If you like Stranger Things…

I’ll Be Gone In The Dark (June 28) - HBO

https://www.youtube.com/embed/DTNHJETw0S8

Interested in the true crime genre? This might be right up your alley, then. This docuseries adapts Michelle McNamara’s book of the same name, which followed the case of the Golden State Killer. The series will dive deep into the case, featuring new interviews with detectives, survivors and family members of the murderer and cover a complex investigation that spanned decades. The title is in reference to a quote from the killer to one of his victims: “You’ll be silent forever, and I’ll be going in the dark.”

If that isn’t chilling, I don’t know what is.
