Secretlab is complementing its lineup of monitor arms with the launch of its MAGNUS Vertical Monitor Stand, a stand built to be compatible with the company's MAGNUS line of desks and monitor accessories.

The Vertical Monitor Stand works with Secretlab's own MAGNUS Monitor Arms, allowing users to configure all the way up to a quad-monitor setup, as the monitor stand allows for up to four 32-inch monitors (a MAGNUS Single Monitor Arm on its own supports 34-inch monitors, but the two-inch difference might not mean a lot when you now have access to four screens).

Configurations that are possible with the Vertical Monitor Stand include a 2+1 monitor setup with two horizontal and one vertical, or if you're a screen real estate enthusiast / productivity guru, a 2x2 horizontal monitor grid.

If you're stretching out the Vertical Monitor Stand to its limit with four stacked 32-inch monitors, Secretlab says that there's nothing to worry about, as all monitor arms, when connected to the monitor stand, "are precisely spaced to allow each monitor to be perfectly flush against each other."

The Vertical Monitor Stand also allows the individual monitor arms to retain the "full range of tilt, swivel, and rotation adjustments", and like the individual MAGNUS Monitor Arms, is compatible with any desk with a thickness of between 10-50mm.

However, it works best with Secretlab's own MAGNUS or MAGNUS Pro desks, as the base clamp is designed to fit perfectly into their cable tray openings.

Secretlab says that the name of the game with this launch is flexibility, as the Vertical Monitor Stands allow users to "turn almost any monitor setup configuration into a reality", from a single display to four of them.

Availability and Pricing

The MAGNUS Vertical Monitor Stand is available now through Secretlab's website for $329.

If you don't already have a MAGNUS Monitor Arm, Secretlab is selling the Vertical Monitor Stand Setup, which includes the Vertical Monitor Stand itself, two MAGNUS Single Monitor Arms along with two Monitor Arm Connector Attachments, as well as a magnetic cable sheath. This gives you dual-monitor support from the get-go.

You can also purchase two MAGNUS Monitor Arms separately, which enables the quad-monitor setup. If you're inclined, you can also purchase the Vertical Monitor Stand itself separately.
