LEGO launches "The Realm of Possibilities", a CNY LEGO-themed event at Suntec City Singapore

Joining the two LEGO sets that it specially released for upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, The LEGO Group is also putting up an event at Suntec City for families to enjoy. Held from 9 January to 9 February, the event, dubbed "The Realm of Possibilities" is a family-friendly adventure with various CNY-themed LEGO sets on sale at the site too.
The event, held at the Suntec City Atrium (Tower 1 and 2), opens at 10.30am (12.30pm on the first day) and closes at 9pm. Registrants get to complete activities at three different stations, accompanied by characters Eddy the Explorer and Sammy the Snake. These activities include:
- Building a LEGO Koi fish for a reunion dinner,
- Collecting persimmons for the village's good fortune,
- Keying wishes and dreams for the new year on a 6m tall e-lantern.
There's goodies to redeem after completing these events as well. Children aged 4-12 get to redeem a LEGO Firecracker, while those aged 13 and above get to redeem a LEGO voucher for onsite purchases (though both are subject to limited daily stocks). Additionally, the event includes a hunt for LEGO Ang Baos at a LEGO diorama display for a chance to win LEGO sets. On selected days, you can also view a lion dance performance (18 and 25 January), and snap a picture with the first-ever LEGO God of Fortune mascot (1-2, 8-9 February).

There are also other activities to partake in and LEGO sets to redeem, though these require a purchase with minimum spending requirements:
- A sure win claw machine with a minimum spend of S$28 at the event,
- A LEGO Red Ceramic Mug with a minimum spend of S$168 at the event,
- A LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Tropical Toucan polybag (30688) with a minimum spend of S$68, or a Year of the Snake set (40707) with a minimum spend of S$108 (both these purchases can be made at any LEGO Certified Store and are valid for redemption from 1 January to 28 February).
