This Epic Hadouken figurine is exactly what you think it is

You know, I was doing my part working from home today when I saw this absolute stunner on Hypebeast:

This, boys and girls, is a 15-inch (37.5cm) handmade resin and teak wood figurine of KFC‘s Colonel Sanders designed by Indonesian artist Hanh and available through Indonesia-based art toy shop Heart Lab.

But look carefully, this is no ordinary statuette of the fast food chicken restaurant chain’s famous ambassador: this Colonel Sanders is decked in Ryu from Street Fighter’s white gi outfit and is unleashing a chicken Hadouken (Hadou-chic-ken?). It’s so epic that its creators named it — yup — Epic Hadouken.

Limited to only 200 pieces (the first batch of 30 already sold at time of writing), each Epic Hadouken is priced at US$245 (price includes shipping to Asia, the U.S., Australia and Europe) and comes with a certificate of authenticity and plywood packaging. If you’re interested, you can message Heart Lab on Instagram; the shop accepts payments through PayPal or bank transfer. All orders will ship by June 2020.
