There's a new lightsaber to add to your collection. Disney is launching a new limited edition Cal Kestis Legacy lightsaber hilt, modeled after the blade of the hero of the newly launched Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The hilt takes cue from the double-bladed weapon that Cal wields in Fallen Order and Survivor. The lightsaber is housed in a wooden display box with authentic Aurebesh text, according to Disney, and will launch on May 4 at 8am PT (11pm GMT+8) and cost a whopping US$400. The top of the box is adorned with the Jedi Crest and the Aurebesh writing translates to "Trust Only in the Force."
It will also be available to buy at Stage 1 Company Store in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort and Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort.
Only 7,500 pieces have been made, and each will come with an individually numbered certificate.
The collectible also draws inspiration from the way players are able to customise the colour of Cal's lightsaber in Survivor. The blade, sold separately, can also reportedly change colour with the push of a button, with supported colours including blue, green, purple, yellow, and white.
In the Star Wars Jedi games, Cal combines the lightsabers of Jedi Masters Jaro Tapal and Cere Junda to build his own double-bladed saber. The weapon can also be split into two halves and wielded as dual single blades.
Cal's saber will go live on the Shop Disney website.
