Changi Airport celebrates Hello Kitty's 50th Birthday with festive fun and carnival activities

This holiday season Changi Airport is honouring Hello Kitty's 50th birthday. From 1 November to 16 February 2025, Terminal 3 will be transformed into a lively celebration space as the Changi Festive Village returns, and travellers and fans of the adorable Sanrio cahracters can immerse themselves in a festive wonderland full of kawaii-ness.

The highlight of this year’s event is, of course, the Hello Kitty Festive Wonderland, located at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall. The centrepiece is an 8-metre-tall Hello Kitty topiary, accompanied by her friends including My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin.

For those looking to add a bit of fun to their visit, there’s also a 7-metre-long rainbow slide to enjoy. On weekends, exclusive meet-and-greet sessions will take place, giving visitors the chance to interact with Hello Kitty and her friends. To be a part of it, a spend of a minimum S$50 (or S$80 in supermarkets and Jewel) at participating shops or dining outlets in Changi Airport’s public areas, and you can secure a meet-and-greet pass through the Changi App.
