Capcom to lead inaugural physical B2C Entertainment Zone at gamescom asia 2023

gamescom asia 2023 expects to attract over 30,000 visitors and over 150 exhibitors, as it opens its doors to the public for the first time in its history.

Japanese game developer and publisher Capcom has been announced as the first major publisher to participate in the B2C Entertainment Zone at the gamescom asia 2023, marking a significant milestone in the event's history.

In a first for the satellite event of the world's largest video game festival, gamescom, the organisers will be hosting a physical B2C Entertainment Zone for public attendees. The event, to be held from 19–22 October 2023, will also feature an expanded Trade Zone for business-to-business interactions.

Aimed at spotlighting the interactive entertainment industry in the Asia Pacific region, gamescom asia 2023 will host not just a trade and public exhibition but also a trade conference and several programmes for the public. Online shows PRIMETIME and STUDIO will also make a return, available to fans on 19 and 22 October.

Capcom's presence is set to kickstart the Entertainment Zone, and it will be accompanied by numerous other sponsors in the B2B Trade Zone, including Xsolla, AWS for Games, Unlimit, and Worldline.

Exhibitors and pavilions from around the globe, spanning from Singapore to Spain and from Canada to China, have confirmed their participation. The event is set to be a global showcase of the latest gaming products and services.
