The award-winning video game Stray marks its Xbox debut with a limited edition cat toy set
The set showcases the popular B-12 robot and the cheeky Zurk, characters that players of the game would instantly recognise.
Annapurna Interactive's enchanting cat-centric game, Stray, has expanded its territory. Developed by BlueTwelve Studio, the game is now available for Xbox gamers. Prior to this, gamers on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam have already had the pleasure. Even Mac gamers can look forward to the game soon.
For those unfamiliar, Stray offers players an immersive experience where they step into the paws of a stray cat, journeying through a forgotten cybercity. The neon-lit streets and shadowy realms of the city conceal an ancient mystery, which the feline protagonist must solve to find an escape route. It isn’t a lone adventure though; a flying drone named B-12 joins the cat, making the game's narrative even more intriguing.
In a unique twist, Travel Cat, a well-regarded name in the cat product arena, is celebrating 'Stray’s' Xbox launch in style. The company has announced a collaboration to unveil a limited-edition cat toy set. The set showcases the popular B-12 robot and the cheeky Zurk, characters that players of the game would instantly recognise. Those eager to get their hands on this collectible can already pre-order.
The game's credentials are undeniably impressive. 'Stray' has clinched several accolades like the Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards. Other feathers in its cap include the PlayStation Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards and the Best Debut at the Game Developers Choice Awards. Its innovative gameplay hasn’t gone unnoticed, earning it the Most Innovative Gameplay at the Steam Awards. It has also been in the spotlight with over 20 nominations at prestigious award platforms such as BAFTA and the D.I.C.E. Awards.
