Razer is teaming up with K-pop super group Blackpink for a “bold” collaboration

How you like that?

Now this was unexpected: Razer has announced a team-up with the K-pop super group Blackpink, teasing a limited-edition collaboration that blends the gaming company’s peripherals and accessories with the girl-group’s recognisable pink-forward aesthetic. It might seem an unusual pairing, but it’s one that is actually very on-brand for Razer, which has been leaning further into fashion and life-style collaborations in recent years – like their partnership with premium luggage bag Tumi.

What’s notably absent for now though, are the actual products. In its press release, Razer says the Blackpink x Razer collection will feature “exclusive co-branded gaming gear”, but it has stopped short of confirming what the full line-up looks like. There’s no word yet on whether this will be a single hero product, a small range of peripherals, or a broader collection spanning keyboards, mice, headsets, or even fashion products. Instead, Razer says it will make a separate announcement on this later. For BLINKs who also game, this could end up being a crossover that feels surprisingly natural.

Adding to the hype are planned pop-up fan activations tied to Blackpink’s ucoming world tour, with appearances during the Deadline Pop-Up Store in Hong Kong. Details remain scant and for the time being, fans will have to wait and see what actually lands. If nothing else, this is Razer keeping people guessing – and very deliberately so.
