Lego is joining in on F1 fever with a new islandwide event. Titled Lego F1 Grand Brix Speed Hunt, this scavenger hunt sees 10 special Lego F1 Collectible Cars hidden across central Singapore, with special prizes for the lucky few who manage to find them.

Lego is also working with local influencers, who, over the contest period, will be posting clues on their social media pages until all the cars are found.

If you manage to sleuth out where they are and find them, Lego says to take a photo of the Lego car and scan the QR code underneath them to redeem a unique code. Once you do so, submit that photo and unique code to Lego Singapore’s Facebook page, and keep the car with you for verification during prize redemption.

Your reward for all that trouble? A complete collection of the 10 Lego Formula 1 Speed Champions series, worth S$439. The challenge began a couple days ago on 25 September, and will be running until 11:59PM on 5 October. You can see the full T&Cs here.

The first batch of clues can be found on influencers’ Jazliyana Lee (@jazliyanaparis), Thomas Kopankiewicz (@heythomask) and Umehara Keiji’s (@umeandhara) Instagram pages, as well as Leah Shannon’s (@mischiefmagikk) TikTok. More clues will be posted on their Instagram Stories over the week.

Keep in mind that the entries are accepted on a first-come-first served basis, so only the first person to find a collectible car will win one of the 10 prizes going around. Redemption will take place at the Lego Experience the Thrill event happening at ION Orchard.

Lego’s Experience the Thrill is a pop-up at ION Orchard which will open until 12 October, featuring challenges with prizes and a life-sized Lego Williams Racing FW46 F1 car.

Speaking of which, you can also visit Experience the Thrill, happening until 12 October, if you just want to take part in some speedy Lego action.

The event runs from 11AM to 9PM each day, and with various interactive stations featuring F1 related challenges, like a pit stop mechanic speed test. Visitors who have completed all the stations can redeem a prize at the event as well: a Mini Lego Race Car for kids aged 4-12, and a S$5 Lego voucher for adults.

You can also find promotions for exclusive items like a Lego Red Car and Ferrari Hypercar, as well as a contest to count the number of Race Flags hidden in a Lego F1 diorama, where three winners will win Lego F1 sets worth more than S$100.
