Racing games are a venerable genre. Whether on console or at the arcade, it’s certainly a go-to whenever you’re looking for high octane gameplay that you can easily jump into without too much prior knowledge.
Oh yeah, and races are a thing in real life, too.
Formula 1 is coming back to Singapore, with the Singapore Grand Prix happening on 5 October. With less than two weeks left to go, Timezone is making this weekend (27 to 28 September) all about F1 and racing at its Orchard Xchange venue.
This comes in the form of the F1 Simulator Experience, which consists of two professional racing simulators that aim to capture the feel of being an F1 driver. Platinum Timezone members can redeem one free ride on their Timezone Fun App, and visitors can also enjoy one free ride with any double deal reload at Timezone Orchard Xchange (at least S$100).
In addition, three new games making their debut: Speed Rider 4DX Motion Twin, a motorcycle racing game, NASCAR Pitstop, a redemption game where you assume the role of a NASCAR pitstop crew, and Legend of Spark, a motion-seat kids’ racer.
Asphalt 9 DX is one racing game that’s playable for $1 from 27 September to 5 October.
Of course, mainstays in Timezone’s racing lineup like Fast & Furious Turbo, Asphalt 9 DX, Bigfoot Crush are always there to play. Which is good, as all 14 Timezone venues across Singapore are offering $1 Racing Games, from 27 September to 5 October. Games that fall under this promotion will be marked with a racing flag.
In addition, families can also enjoy a Legend of Spark challenge, which include mystery prizes for those who score over 20,000 points. This challenge will run from 27 to 28 September, and is only at the Orchard Xchange venue.
