Zenless Zone Zero's version 1.1 update introduces Qingyi, Jane, and new story content

Following the launch of their latest urban fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero is gearing up for its first major update.
Developer HoYoverse has announced that Version 1.1, titled "Undercover R&B", will arrive on 14 August, bringing new characters, storylines, and gameplay features to the post-apocalyptic world of New Eridu.
The update is centred around the New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) and their conflict with the Mountain Lion Gang. Players will enter a narrative involving characters Qingyi, Jane, and Seth, offering a deeper look into New Eridu. The special episode "Undercover R&B" will allow Proxies to explore the city, complete commissions as Jane, and uncover the mysterious past between her and the N.E.P.S
Besides the storyline update, two new S-Rank characters will join the roster. First up is Qingyi, an electric stun specialist and a Strike-type character who belongs to the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team faction.
The second of the two is Jane Doe, a physical anomaly Agent with ties to the Mountain Lion Gang. Additionally, Seth, an A-Rank electric defence character, will provide support with shielding abilities.
The update also sees the introduction of a new gameplay mode in Hollow Zero dubbed "Inferno Reap". This time-limited challenge pits players against Nineveh in a boss fight, offering various in-game rewards for successful attempts. Players can also look forward to the "Camellia Golden Week" event, which will provide opportunities to earn items such as Polychromes and A-level W-engine.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1 will also bring quality-of-life improvements, including an upgraded camera function with filters and selfie options. The New Eridu Public Security area at Lumina Square will be opened to players, expanding the explorable areas of the game.
