Xbox Games Showcase: Our first look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a rather creepy one
If you liked the Metro series, chances are this is right up your alley too.

For those who might not have gotten the memo, developer GSC Game World is somewhat of a ghost where game studios are concerned. After all, the Ukrainian outfit was previously shut down back in 2011 by its CEO Sergei Grigorovich, and yet, somehow it's back from the dead and presenting us with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. at the Xbox Games Showcase.

Just kidding - the game was first announced sometime in 2018, but we weren't lying when we said this was our first look at the game, or at least it appears to be - the FAQ sheet shown above was taken from GSC's Facebook page, and it notes that the footage from the trailer isn't taken from the in-game environment but is more of a target benchmark that they'd like to achieve during launch.
Nevertheless, credit should be given where it is due, and the trailer is looking mighty fine as is. We've got high hopes for this one, and fans of the Metro series should keep an eye on this too - it's set to release for Xbox Series X and PC sometime next year.
