Dontnod has revealed a release date for their mystery game Tell Me Why at the Xbox Games Showcase event: August 27, 2020. The Life is Strange and Vampyr developer also revealed a new trailer for the game.
Tell Me Why follows two twin siblings, Tyler and Alyson Ronan, who reunite after spending a long time apart. The duo find themselves back in their childhood home, where they start to unravel memories of a loving but troubled childhood.
Watch the new trailer:

Players will have to explore each sibling’s conflicting memories of important events in their lives, and choose which one to side with. These choices will have consequences on their relationship, and ultimately their journey as well.
One of the siblings, Tyler is a transgender man. Dontnod worked closely with LGBTQ media advocacy organisation organisation GLAAD to portray Tyler as a fully realised human being, while also being an accurate representation of a trans person.
Tell Me Why will come in three parts, the first of which launches next month on August 27, 2020. The game will be released on Xbox One and PC.
