At long last!

Yes, it's taken a while, but the lengthy wait for Shadowlands will be worth it. Or so Blizzard says.
Earlier today, the company announced via Twitter that World of Warcraft's newest expansion, which lets players explore Azeroth's concept of the afterlife will finally be playable on Nov 23, with the pre-expansion launch event coming through roughly two weeks before on Nov 10.
This comes after a short delay on Blizzard's part - the team mentioned several weeks earlier that they needed a little more time to iron out some of the developmental creases, and as such pushed back the expansion's original release, which was scheduled for Oct 26. Fortunately, it seems the developers have been able to fix up whatever they thought needed fixing, and the tweet written by executive producer John Hight mentions that the team has been able to "further polish the expansion and shore up the endgame" as well.
Anyway, for those who are keen to get their hands dirty with raids, you won't have to wait too long to get started. On top of all the thank you notes to fans and development updates, the message also mentions that the opening date for the expansion's first raid, Castle Nathria will coincide with the start of Shadowlands' first season on Dec 8.
Happy hunting!
