Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed
The 15-year wait is about to get a little longer.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will not make its original release date in Q1 2020. Developer Hardsuit Labs broke the news in an open letter, stating that they were making the decision to launch a stable, polished product.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines originally launched way back in 2004 and was famous for its buggy, broken state. Apparently, the development team doesn’t want to repeat their mistakes with the game’s sequel.
The team wrote:
For the last three and a half years, we’ve worked hard to bring you a worthy successor to Bloodlines 1. To us, that meant not only making good on the ambitions of this remarkable game, but also a duty to ensure we would not repeat its mistakes. Today, we have to tell you that we need some more time to get you the game you’ve been waiting for. Although Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will still launch in 2020, we have decided to value quality over making the Q1 launch window.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is a sequel to the cult classic action-RPG set in modern-day Seattle, Washington. The story centres around a newly-made vampire navigating a dangerous and powerful subculture. The game will still launch sometime in 2020 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
