Timezone is hosting a Championship competition that requires physical strengths and skills

Timezone is hosting a series of tournaments as part of its brand-new Timezone Championships series. The event will feature three categories: Basketball, Strength, and Under 12 Bowling.

Here's a quick rundown of the three different categories.

• Basketball: Participants aim for the top scores in two different arcade titles, NBA and Slam & Jam. The three highest scorers from each venue will then advance to the finals.
• Strength: Competitors test their power in a series of strength arcade machines including Ultimate Big Punch, Combo Boxer, and Dragon Punch.
• Under 12 bowling: As the name suggests, only children under 12 years of age can participate in this competition. The game is simple. Knock down as many pins as you can and the top junior bowlers will be recognised as the "Strike Wizard" of the championship.

If you're keen on participating in either one of the competitions, the games will start with a preliminary round beginning from now till 3 August. To enter, there is no entrance fee, but participants must have a Powercard to join. You can compete multiple times during the competition period to achieve the highest score possible.

From then on, the top three winners from each category and venue will advance to the finals which will take place on 11 August 2024.

If you manage to make it deep into the tournament, the first-place prize will be a Timezone Gold Card with $500 in-game credits. The second and third-place prizes will be a Timezone Welcome Card with $300 and $100 in-game credits respectively.
