Square Enix has released a behind-the-scenes look at the FFVII Remake's "Hollow"

From stunning cinematic teaser trailers, to dedicated concert experiences coming up in July, the Final Fantasy VII Remake certainly needs no introduction. After all, the revisitation of the legendary 1997 PlayStation RPG seems to have a lot going for it: fancy visuals, nostalgic story, fluid gameplay and of course, an excellent soundtrack.

Notably, the remake also comes with its own theme song, "Hollow", a melancholic, emotional tune that really tugs at the heartstrings, and you really should check it out if you haven't. Composed by Nobuo Uematsu and performed by Yosh from Survive Said The Prophet, it's an amazingly beautiful song, and Square Enix has done everyone a favour by dropping this behind-the-scenes video at how it all came together.

As Uematsu-san notes, Yosh's impressive vocal range played a big part in making "Hollow" the emotional piece that it is, while the singer himself also admitted he was quite taken aback at being offered the chance to work on such an established series. Nevertheless, the latter was happy to offer his talents, and because of that, Final Fantasy fans will have a stunning complement to this modern throwback of sorts when the remake arrives on April 10
