Sega's Like A Dragon (aka Yakuza) vending machines installed at Kabukicho, Shinjuku, in Tokyo

Fans of Sega’s Like a Dragon (aka Yakuza) series will soon have a new way to connect with the world of Kamurocho – if they are in Tokyo, as five officially licensed vending machines featuring characters from the series are set to appear in the Kabukicho area of Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan. The installation went up earlier this month on 8 December and marks another in a series of Yakuza-themed collaborations, and it’s one that brings the franchise’s iconic characters into the real world.

The vending machines will offer exclusive merchandise, including an “I Love Kamurocho” T-shirt (¥3,900), character keyholders (¥1,100), and acrylic blocks featuring fan favourites like Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ichiban Kasuga, Taiga Saejima, and Daigo Dojima.

In addition to the merchandise, a stamp rally will be held in conjunction with the vending machines. Visitors can scan QR codes on each machine to collect virtual stamps, which will enter them into a prize draw for exclusive Yakuza prizes. The exact locations for the machines are below:
