Sapphire HD 7950 3GB Vapor-X Edition Announced

Running at an engine clock speed of 850MHz with 3GB of DDR5 memory clocked at 5000MHz, the Vapor-X cooler is based on a new vapor chamber specially designed for this series.

Sapphire announces its HD 7950 3G Vapor-X Edition, which shares many features of the recently announced HD 7970 Vapor-X Edition series.

Running at an engine clock speed of 850MHz with 3GB of DDR5 memory clocked at 5000MHz, the Vapor-X cooler is based on a new vapor chamber specially designed for this series. Four heatpipes and two 90mm fans with aerofoil blades and dust repelling bearings help disperse the heat efficiently, even under extreme load conditions.

Supporting all the latest demands of multi-screen applications, the card is suited for multi-screen gaming as well as demanding professional applications like content creation, video editing, or rendering. Users can also individually tune the card with Sapphire TriXX, Sapphire's free software tool that allows key parameters to be adjusted for maximum performance.
