Razer's Seiren Emote microphone can display custom emotes live from your Twitch stream

Everyone wants to be a Twitch (or Mixer) streamer these days. If you're looking to stand out from the crowd, Razer may just have the microphone for you. The company announced the Seiren Emote at TwitchCon, and it's a microphone with an 8-bit 8x8 RGB LED screen that can display emotes in sync with audience interactions on your Twitch or Mixer stream, such as when someone subscribes or makes a donation.
It'll work with popular broadcasting programs like Streamlabs and XSplit too, and will sync with other Chroma-compatible devices.
The microphone itself is a hyper-cardioid condenser mic that supposedly has a tighter and more focused pick-up pattern than regular cardioid microphones. This means it should be better at picking up your voice and reducing unwanted background noise.
In addition, there is a built-in shock mount to absorb any impact from when your microphone gets accidentally bumped around. An interchangeable gooseneck also extends the microphone's height, giving you more flexibility in positioning it so your camera can capture its emoticon display.

The Seiren Emote can be paired with the Razer Streamer Companion App. It comes with an emoticon editor, an emoticon library where you can save your designs, and controls to set up and manage the specific events that trigger a certain emoticon. At launch, the Seiren Emote will let you choose from over 100 static or animated presets, in addition to customising or uploading your own emotes.
The rise of game broadcasting means there is very real demand for streamer-focused peripherals and products. That's the entire reason why streamer-oriented companies like Elgato exist. The company recently announced the Multi Mount, a multi-purpose system for creators to organise and mount their cameras, microphones, and lighting.
