Basically a giant ape with horns and a temper.

Hunters, get ready to be beaten into submission. The Monster Hunter team has just dropped a new trailer announcing that Rajang will be the first DLC monster to join the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne cast.
A series veteran since Monster Hunter 2, Rajang will be coming as part of a free title update in October 2019. Now being brought to life in Monster Hunter World’s engine, the Fanged Beast has received an updated look that is as terrifying as its abilities.

We are given a small taste of Rajang’s aggressive and dominating fighting style in the trailer – the ape-like beast launches its colossal body at the hunter, grabbing him, and then hurling him away with full force.
The end of the trailer also teases the return of Rajang’s unique rage mode, where its fur rises and turns gold through its electrical powers (pretty much going Super Saiyan).
Long-time fans will probably be excited and terrified in equal parts for the return of Rajang, while newcomers to the series get to learn the fear of dealing with its deadly combination of speed and power.
So be prepared for its addition next month on consoles. Iceborne will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One on 6 September 2019. PC players will have to wait for January 2020 to join the hunt. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on when Rajang will be added to PC.
