Prism+ has just unveiled a new 24-inch monitor called the PG240 that has one of the fastest IPS displays in the market.
But first, let's cover the basics. This 24-inch monitor supports Full-HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and uses an IPS display panel.
And like most contemporary monitors, the PG240 has slim bezels. It also has ambient lighting on the back panel. But only in blue, there's no RGB lighting here.
Now, IPS display panels are often favoured for their better colour reproduction and viewing angles. However, they are often slower than competing TN panels. The PG240, however, doesn't suffer from the usual drawbacks of IPS panels.
Even though it is capable of reproducing up to 125% of the sRGB colour space, it has a super-fast response time of 1ms GTG and an equally fast refresh rate of 165Hz.
The PG240 also features Prism+'s next-generation monitor mount that adjusts for height, tilt, and orientation. This means you can use it in portrait mode if you wish.
The Prism+ PG240 is available now and it's priced at S$339.
You can find it on Prism+'s website here.
