The PlayStation 5 will launch on 11 December for RM2,299 in Malaysia
Malaysia finally gets pricing and pre-order information.

It’s a little late, but it’ll do.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has just announced that the PlayStation 5 will launch in Malaysia on December 11, 2020! The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will retail for RM1869, while the PlayStation 5 with an Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive will retail for RM2299. Malaysia has been without any pricing and pre-order information for awhile now, so this is a welcome change.
PlayStation 5 games are also getting a bump up in price. Games like Demon’s Souls will cost RM299, while Spider-Man: Miles Morales will cost RM209. The official pricing for the console’s many console accessories has also been revealed, as listed below:
- DualSense Wireless Controller (standalone) – RM349
- PULSE 3D wireless headset – RM469
- HD Camera – RM279
- Media Remote – RM149
- DualSense Charging Station – RM149
The PlayStation 5 consoles will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting from tomorrow on November 12, 2020. Here are the participating retailers you can pre-order from:
