Publisher Level Infinite and developer TiMi Studio Group will launch its mobile MOBA game, Honor of Kings, globally on 20 June for both iOS and Android devices. Gamers from North America, Europe, Japan and Singapore will finally get to play the game that has long dominated the Chinese mobile gaming market since 2015.

Pre-registrations for Honor of Kings are now open, and a slew of in-game rewards awaits. These include a free hero, Ying, an associated skin, along with additional rewards as more milestones are hit. Additionally, all who pre-register will be entered into a lucky draw with prizes including full hero and skin privileges, limited-time tokens, and 18,888 Starstones.

Honor of Kings will maintain its free-to-play model as it launches globally. However, only 85 of its 100-plus playable heroes will be available at launch. The game will feature several modes, including 5v5, 3v3, Boot Camp, and AI simulations, with matches designed to last around 15-20 minutes. This quick match format is particularly appealing for mobile gamers seeking intense but short gaming sessions. Honor of Kings is also known for its musical score, featuring works from renowned composers such as Hans Zimmer (Batman Begin, Dark Knight), Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro), and Howard Shore (The Lord of Rings trilogy), which got me quite intrigued.

The global launch of Honor of Kings coincides with the kickoff of The Invitational Season 2 tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 29 June, and will see teams from Brazil, Turkey, Southeast Asia, South America as well as Europe regions competing for a share of a US$300,000 prize pool. The winning team will also secure a spot in the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
