Cougar Extends Lineup of PSUs with GX V3 Series for Gamers

Aimed specifically at gamers, the new power supplies each come in a rugged black coating with a golden grill, and are fully compliant with the 80 Plus Gold standard, featuring a peak efficiency of up to 93%. Equipped with an ultra quiet temperature-controlled 140mm fan, the advanced modular cable management system is further enhanced with new flat cables that simplify installation and maximize airflow.
Incorporating RST (Rapid Switch Technology) and DC to DC technology, the CLC filter design suppresses ripples and noise to less than 1%. Utilizing 105°C rated Japanese capacitors, the new PSUs deliver four times the lifespan of conventional 85°C rated capacitors. Supporting the Energy Star 5.0 rating, they also consume less than 0.3W when your PC is in standby mode.
