Play as M.Bison in Street Fighter 6 as year 2 kicks off

M. Bison is now officially available as a character for play as Year 2 begins in Street Fighter 6. 

The iconic M. Bison was last seen seemingly defeated by Ryu in Street Fighter V, and has now awoken and stumbled into the Ruined Lab. His focus now lies on regaining the villainous power he once had.

Joining the Street Fighter 6 roster as the 23rd character, the undying lord will be available for play across all three game modes, including World Tour where you can learn more about his story, Battle Hub, where you can use his move in your avatar, and the classic Fighting Ground experience. 

Play

Based on the gameplay trailer, M. Bison’s moveset will feel familiar yet fresh as compared to previous Street Fighter instalments. In Street Fighter 6, he will feature some of the following moves: 

• Shadow Rise: Quick and high-reaching jump with two follow-ups: The head press and his devil reverse moves. 
• Backfist Combo: An all-new move that sees M. Bison plant Psycho Mines in his opponents. 
• Knee Press Nightmare: M. Bison’s level 1 super art that aims for the opponent's knees with a series of crushing blows. At start-up, M. Bison will be invincible.
• Psycho Punisher: M. Bison’s level 2 super art that launches opponents into the air with a powerful shockwave from a stomp.
• Unlimited Psycho Crusher: M Bison’s level 3 super art sees the villain rush towards the opponent and smash them into the ground with immeasurable strength. 

Based on some of his following moves, psycho power and aggressive pressure will be a major part of his fighting style. More information about his move set can be found here.

During the Year 2 character announcement, M. Bison was revealed alongside other characters such as Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui from SNK's Fatal Fury series, and Elena, a master of Capoeira. Additionally, Capcom has announced new content and updates to the game which includes M. Bison's mission and story, an enhanced replay option, including variable playback speeds, and other quality-of-life updates such as flashing health bars for critical arts. 

M. Bison is now a playable character across the PlayStation 5/4 console, the Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. M. Bison will be unlocked for owners of the Year 2 Character/Ultimate pass or can be purchased for 350 Fighter Coins. Outfit one and two colour variations will be included upon purchase.
