Borderlands 3 has got to be one of the most highly anticipated games to come out in the latter half of 2019. Well, Gearbox just revealed when exactly you'll be able to play the game, and it's launching midnight on 13 September for nearly every time zone.
You'll also be able to preload the game 48 hours ahead of time, regardless of which platform you're playing on. This is great news for PC players – Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said just last month that the Epic Games Store would not support preloading of Borderlands 3 in time for the game's release. The PC version will be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for six months, a controversial move in itself that drew the ire of PC gamers, sparking a riot that saw disgruntled players leaving a slew of negative reviews on Steam for Borderlands 2.
The rollout differs slightly for console and PC players. PS4 and Xbox One players can start playing on 13 September at midnight, while PC players will have to wait till 7AM on the same day.
