Is BioWare dropping info on Dragon Age 4?

It'll likely be developed with the next-generation of consoles in mind.

They say good things come to those who wait.

But what are "good things", exactly? That's an excellent question, but BioWare seems to think information on the upcoming Dragon Age 4 qualifies, and hey, I'm all for it.

Earlier today, the Mass Effect developer dropped a tweet stating that they wanted to join the community to celebrate the upcoming Dragon 4ge Day; an unofficial, fan-initiated event that takes place on December 4th. They mentioned it was a special year for them, and it actually is - 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of Dragon Age! Still, such behaviour is quite odd for BioWare, so I guess you can't blame the community for getting suspicious.

The celebration is similar to November 7th for the Mass Effect fans, who recognise it as N7 Day - a nod to the organisation that the series protagonist Shepard is part of.

Anyway, whether or not BioWare actually has something special planned for the community remains to be seen. EA did mention during their recent earnings call that the game won't be out for at least another two years, so perhaps the developers are just celebrating the franchise's 10th birthday like the rest of us.

That being said, there's only one way to find out for sure. Fingers crossed!
