First, there’s the Minimum. The minimum requirement to get the game going is an 8th Gen Intel Core i3-8100 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, and this will get you an estimated 30fps at 1080p at Low graphics settings. Then there’s Recommended, which allows you to achieve a 60fps experience at 1080p provided you have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or higher.

Finally, if you want to enjoy Tifa and Aerith in all their full pixels glory at 4K and max graphics settings, then you’re going to need a minimum Intel Core i7-10700 processor and at least an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card.

If you’re intending to upgrade your PC or graphics card to play Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth for PC, or some of the other hardware-intensive games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it’s worth considering NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 50 Series. These cards range from the behemoth RTX 5090 down to the more mainstream RTX 5080 and RTX 5070, and will be available starting from February.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth will launch on PC on 23 January, 2025.
