Unboxing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Dark Edition set!
Woah that night vision goggles.

It's finally here!
Earlier today, we got our hands on one of 2019's hottest games - the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, not to mention the special Dark Edition for PlayStation 4! While we're really excited to play the game, let's check out what we've got in the box first!
As every game developer will tell you, never leave home without your special edition Steelbook case. Jokes aside, check out that awesome artwork across the back!
On a side note, the holder that comes with it makes for a great photo frame, and you can bet we'll be displaying it!
Moving on to what is arguably the crown jewel of the Dark Edition: an ultra-cool set of night vision goggles, just like the one that dude is wearing on the case.
Unfortunately, it's a little tight for me even when loosened, so I couldn't wear it. Of course, it still works like a charm - automatically changing modes depending on the lighting, and it's pretty sharp too!
The goggles definitely aren't the kind you'd find in a toy store. There's a bunch of dials and knobs which users can adjust to fit them, and there's a "Long Range" button on the base that adds another "flashlight" to help you see when you're in "night vision" mode.
Of course, the goggles come with a stand too - I wouldn't want these to dangle from some random hook in my house. That reminds me, the last time we had a set of night vision goggles was way back during the original MW2 - so perhaps this is a throwback? Just food for thought.
Well, that's about it in terms of the physical stuff. The other portion of goodies can be found and claimed in the game itself - skins, trinkets, and even a special combat knife. The Dark Edition is going for around US$199.99 (~S$273), so go ahead, pick up a copy and get shooting!
Oh, one last thing, if you've ordered the Dark Edition online, look out for your codes in your associated email - they're not in the box itself. On that note, stay tuned for our actual unboxing video!
