Practical Casings for a New Era

To complement the slew of mini-ITX motherboards on offer, Cooler Master offers its Elite 120, a high-end ITX casing. It made its first appearance in CeBIT 2012 and it does remind us of the Cubitek Mini-Tank somewhat; however, Cooler Master has opted for a cleaner look for the Elite 120.

The Elite 120 can be fitted with a dual-slot graphics card like the AMD Radeon HD 6970 graphics card.

The Cosmos II Ultra Tower casing commanded a presence at the display booth due to its size and blue glossy finish. It is inspired by the design of a racing car with its streamlined profile.

The Cosmos II Ultra casing supports up to XL-ATX motherboards and can accommodate 4-way SLI or CrossFire setups.

The Scout II and Raider are chassis targeted at gamers and rig builders who need to move their machines for LAN parties with their carrying handles built for hefty lifting. The K350 and K380 are budget casings; however, Cooler Master has not skimped on their efforts to make them look professional. The K380 has a slot in front that may be fitted with a dock for your smartphones when the specifications of the casings are finalized.

Closed Liquid Cooling Systems

The Eisberg (spells like a phonetically-mangled word for 'iceberg') 240 is a closed liquid cooling system.

The Eisberg 240 features a dual-120mm fan-cooled radiator; hence, its 240-moniker that reflects this fact. The fitting over the CPU features a transparent window.

The Eisberg 120 is supposed to feature a single 120mm fan; however, the folks at Cooler Master have attached another 120mm fan on top of the original one. We may see penny pinching folks opting for the cheaper Eisberg 120 and slapping another of their own 120mm fan.
