Without the Razer Core dock, the Razer Blade Stealth is really just a Razer-branded ultrabook. But that's not to say it isn't a good-looking one, and the 12.5-inch machine sports a sleek CNC-milled aluminum chassis that is only 13.1mm at its thickest.

Razer's signature triple-headed snake logo is the only thing that adorns the otherwise plain lid. It glows bright green when the notebook is powered on.

With its slim, tapered profile and minimalist design, the Razer Blade Stealth looks more than a little like a black version of the MacBook Air. It is also the first notebook to feature per-key LED illumination, which means you can customize the lighting effects on every single key.

A single USB 3.0 port and full-sized HDMI connector are located on the notebook's right edge.

On the left edge, there is another USB 3.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port is located here as well, and it's how you connect the Blade Stealth with the Razer Core dock and power brick.

The stereo speakers are located on either side of the notebook. As far as laptop speakers go, they're fairly loud, but otherwise unremarkable.
