The ASUS ROG Swift PG48UQ is a 48-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor that brings the best for those who pay for the best.

You’re looking at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution  with 0.1ms GTG response times, 120Hz refresh rate, and true 10-bit colour support with its 98% DCI-P3 colour space. The monitor also packs auto low latency mode (ALLM) and variable refresh rate (VRR), all underneath its 900-nits peak brightness panel.

Acting as the true window to your gaming experience, the PG48UQ offers HDMI 2.1 which supports 4K120Hz gaming on consoles without chroma subsampling. It has two of those ports, on top of two more HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 for all-in display connectivity.

Originally at S$2,749, this monster of a panel is now only S$2,559 at Comex 2023’s Challenger booth on Level 3, Booth 301. Challenger said that buying the ROG Swift PG48UQ comes with free delivery, so you don’t have to worry about lugging this 48-incher home.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is a TV soundbar with Dolby Atmos built-in. At approximately 5.7kg, Bose has packed in nine speakers that separates instruments, dialogue, and effects for discrete-sounding surround audio. It supports Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi for wireless pairing. 

Originally at S$1,499, you can now get it at Comex 2023 for S$1,159 at Level 3, Booth 309.

Here’s a wireless mechanical keyboard for under S$100 from a reputable brand.

Cooler Master’s CK721 is a 65% keyboard with a choice between red, blue, and brown TTC mechanical switches, making it ideal for both work and play (definitely play, in our books). It uses both Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, so it even works across PC, Mac, laptops, and mobile devices. The rotary encoder (knob) in the top right can be configured via Cooler Master’s MasterPlus+ software for adjusting volume, colour modes, and other functions.

Originally at S$169, the Cooler Master CK721 now goes at S$89 over at Level 4, Booth 8125 (Cooler Master booth at the front). If you realise, that’s an even lower discounted price than its previous appearance at an IT fair

Creative’s updated bone conduction headphones come with new adjustable transducers, offering more wearing comfort to athletes and sports lovers who want a better fit and listening experience. 

The headphones are IPX5 (Free+) and IPX8 (Free Pro+) water-resistant, with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for wireless listening and an extended 10 hour maximum battery life. The Free Pro+ even comes with 8GB built-in storage for you to store audio tracks or songs.

Creative Outlier Free+ goes at a discounted S$129 (originally S$149) while the Creative Outlier Free Pro+ retails at S$179 (originally S$219). Both can be found at Creative’s booth located on Level 4, Booth 8601.

The Elgato Stream Deck+ is a popular control station for both streamers and non-streamers. 

This variant (there are a few by Elgato) offers a display window for core stats, eight buttons with programmable logos, and four knobs. What they all do depends on the types of plug-ins you choose to install onto the device. 

Elgato has 200 plug-ins available, which quite literally makes the Stream Deck+ be anything you want it to be. You can adjust volume, camera zoom, brightness, white balance, or even your audio chat levels with just a push, twist, or poke. 

Originally at S$299-302 (depending on where you buy it from), the Elgato Stream Deck+ retails at S$269 over at Mansa Computer’s booth on Level 4, Booth 8519/8520/8521. Speak to the promoters at the booth for an even greater discount (don’t say we never tell you).

Elonxtech has two new products added to their charging solutions. First is the Gen3M, which is the wireless charging version of its popular powerbank product, the Gen3.

Gen3M offers three ports: USB-C with PD 3.0 at 20W (responsible for both receiving power and charging USB-C devices), USB-A with QC3.0 at 22.5W, and one more USB-A with regular charging at 10W. Wireless charging is its main appeal here, and you can find the 15W wireless charging pad on the opposite side of its LED display window. It has a capacity of 5,000mAh, which nearly two full charges on a Pro Max variant of iPhone or one full charge for 5,000mAh Android flagship smartphones.

Elonxtech is currently accepting pre-orders for the Gen3M at S$69 with an expected two-week delivery period.

If you spend above S$100 at the brand’s booth, you can grab their other new product for free: a set of four rechargeable Powercell Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries in either AA (2,500mAh each, worth S$19.20 for a set of 4) or AAA format (1,000mAh each, worth S$14 for a set of 4). 

You might even want to pick up their Powercell battery charger (worth S$22, retailing at S$15) to go with your new AA or AAA rechargeable batteries too.

Garmin Instinct 2 is a rugged smartwatch with multi-GNSS support for GPS, ABC sensors (altimeter, barometer, 3-axis compass) for elevation and weather monitoring, and smart notifications support from your phone. It also comes with everything else you’d expect from other brand-name smartwatches, like heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, sleep scoring, and menstrual logging.

The bezel and case is made from fibre-reinforced polymer, paired with a silicone strap, giving its 10ATM water rating. Its 45mm watch face offers a 176 x 176 pixels resolution MIP display type for all information. In its regular smartwatch mode, it offers a whopping 28 days of battery life. It still clocks in a reasonable 30 hours in continuous GPS mode.

These earbuds retail at S$178 instead of their usual S$198, over at Challenger’s booth on Level 3, Booth 307.

The Marshall Motif II is a recently launched pair of true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) recently launched (30 August 2023), making it a true launch product debuting at Comex 2023.

It packs up to 30 hours of playback with ANC enabled and Transparency mode if you need to hear your surroundings. The earbuds also support Bluetooth LE Audio (BT 5.3), and has a compatible Marshall app if you want more customisation. Topping it all off is IPX5 water resistance for the earbuds and IPX4 for the charging case.

The Marshall Motif II ANC retails at TC Acoustic’s collaboration booth with Challenger, on Level 3 Booth 309. It officially retails at S$349 with stocks due to arrive on 12 September onwards, but you can get an additional S$30 off if you pre-order at the Comex 2023 booth itself.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip needs no introduction — it literally outsold itself during launch. But what you need to know is that it’s even cheaper now, since its successor is close at hand. 

For a quick recap, the Find N2 Flip is a clamshell smartphone with a near-creaseless fold, and a secondary screen that takes up about half of its front plate. Both inside and outside displays are a joy to use, provided you are willing to go the lengths and customise them (most of its owners definitely would).

Originally at S$1,299, the Oppo Find N2 Flip can be gotten at S$1,149 if you head down to the Challenger booth on Level 3, Booth 301.
