25 pictures that defined STGCC 2017
If you had missed STGCC 2017, here's a quick pictorial recap.
Star Wars took center stage at this year's Singapore Toys, Games & Comics Convention. Fans were treated to plenty of model kits from everybody's space opera, such as the new X-Wing first seen in Episode VII.
Quite possibly the most detailed Millennium Falcon model that we have seen to date - complete with laser-burnt markings. Or you could wait out for the highly-anticipated new LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon.
We are all huge fans of Robotech (aka Macross). This is an awesome chibi model of Rick Hunter's VF fighter. Oh, and it transforms to flight and battroid modes too!
Disney's Tsum Tsum toy cars, manufactured by Takara Tomy, was a huge hit at the show floor. Especially with women and kids. You have got to agree they are awfully cute though.
Tabletop gaming had a huge presence this year. Warhammer 40,000 and its painstakingly hand-painted figurines were very popular with the crowd.
XM Studios' booth was one of the more popular booths at STGCC 2017. The line at their booth, where visitors can purchase XM's premium collectible figurines (such as the one seen here), were perpetually full for all 2 days.
Megaman or Rockman? That depends if you had played the game on the Japanese Famicom or the American Nintendo console.
HMO, another premium collectible maker, showed off its latest Crow King figurine. Just check out those details!
If you are into collectibles from Japanese manga/anime, STGCC's got plenty of it too. Here's Gaara and his One-Tailed Shukaku from Naruto.
Trivia: This was funny. But hardcore fans of Star Wars will realise that this is a desert stormtrooper, and thus not likely to have been in the Death Star when it exploded.
Because we saved the best Mai for last. Remember the femme fatale character from Fatal Fury?
