BLAST is making Singapore its new home ground for esports, after sealing a multi-year deal with the Singapore Tourism Board to bring four major arena tournaments to our sunny island. For a country that has quietly built itself into one of Asia’s most active esports hubs, this feels like the next logical step – one that puts Singapore firmly on the global competitive gaming calendar.

The partnership will kick off with something fresh: BLAST’s first-ever Dota 2 event, the BLAST Dota Slam Singapore, which will run from 7 to 9 November 2025 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. If you caught BLAST’s debut here last year, when Counter-Strike took over Resorts World Convention Centre, you’ll remember how quickly tickets were snapped up. That show was sold out, and it set the tone for how much appetite there is for top-tier esports events in Singapore.

This time, the stage belongs to Valve’s massive Dota. The Slam will feature some of the world’s best Dota 2 squads battling for a US$1 million prize pool, with the whole thing broadcast across 50 territories and in over 20 languages.

Singapore has been stacking its event calendar with everything from Taylor Swift and Coldplay concerts to F1 night races, and esports is clearly the next big piece of the puzzle. With BLAST bringing its first Dota arena tournament here, the Indoor Stadium crowd will be joining millions tuning in worldwide to see how Singapore plays host. One thing’s for sure – November’s shaping up to be a busy one for fans.
