The Cosmic Red DualSense wireless controller has a markedly higher price tag at S$107, presumably due to the higher production cost in achieving the colour, as opposed to black or white. It's probably safe to assume that future coloured wireless controllers might be priced similarly too.

If you don't know it by now, the DualSense controllers' textured grip has a very cool easter egg. Hint: use a magnifying glass to view it.

The Midnight Black DualSense is reminiscent of the original PlayStation 4 DualShock controller (and the ones from two generations preceding it), featuring a black-on-black tone. If you're looking for a second neutral coloured controller to complement the white DualSense that comes with the PlayStation 5, this is a worthy consideration - especially with its lower S$99.90 tag.

The Cosmic Red and Midnight Black DualSense wireless controllers are available from 11 June onwards at all participating retailers, going for S$99.90 and S$107 respectively. Sony has previously warned that the exact release date will, “vary by location,” and advises consumers to check their local retailers for availability.
