Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025 (AFASG) has come and gone and what a ride it was. Held over the weekend at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, the three day festival delivered everything that anime fans from all over the world love. The exhibition halls were packed, the day stage was filled with excited fans and the concert venue was packed to the brim too.

As a long time anime fan and AFASG attendee, I was super excited to attend this year and I had some really unforgettable moments.

Day One

On the first day, I spent my time exploring the different booths at the exhibition hall. I saw many talented artists and cosplayers at the Creators and Cosplay hubs, ate great food from the food and beverage vendors and explored the different interactive booths that were set up.

After that, I was lucky to be invited by the Crunchyroll team to get an exclusive tour of their booths and even watch the pre-release episodes of some of the most anticipated up-and-coming anime of this season. Check out the video below for a short summary of my day one.

Day Two

The next day was no less exciting. This time I spent the day at level 3 outside the convention where it was packed with cosplayers and visitors who were either waiting to enter or just hanging out. I was fortunate to interview several of them on their cosplays and how they felt being amongst our fellow anime fans. I would like to say a big thank you to all the cosplayers that allowed me to interview them. Check out the interviews below.

Day Three

The final day of the convention was a little bittersweet. I enjoyed myself immensely over the weekend and was sad to see it end so soon. The early morning wasn’t quite as packed as the previous two days, and the venue seemed little peaceful. I found myself enjoying this lull and helped calm some of my melancholy.

Later that morning, I had a chance to interview Yūsuke Kobayashi, the voice actor for Arthur Boyle from the hit anime Fire Force. I was able to ask him some of his insights in voice acting and his own tips for aspiring voice actors which I will be churning out an article on soon.

After the interview, the convention picked up again as the venue became filled with enthusiastic fans once again. I spent most of my time going around talking to my fellow con-goers and just soaking up the vibes. I managed to take some videos of the coolest cosplays I saw and made some new friends along the way. I would once again like to express my thanks to all the cosplayers for agreeing to be filmed. Check out the video below.
