Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025 (AFASG25) is still a couple months away, but the event’s organisers, SOZO, have revealed the first slate of artists for its I Love Anisong concert series, which runs alongside AFA.

Concerts are part and parcel of the AFA experience, though I Love Anisong took a backseat last year. It covered only the last day of the convention, with the preceding two days of concerts taken by the Japan Music Festival and Hololive Stage World Tour. This year, though, I Love Anisong makes a full three-day return.

  • asmi, who rose to fame thanks to her work on the MAISONdes music project and who has contributed theme songs to the Urusei Yatsura and Pokemon: Horizons anime;
  • HIMEHINA, a virtual idol pair with over a million subscribers on YouTube with four studio albums, including one recently released in July;
  • Isekaijoucho, a virtual singer affiliated with the Kamitsubaki Studio label and who has a prolific list of covers and original songs;
  • NOMELON NOLEMON, a two-person band who’ve contributed songs for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX and season 2 of 2023’s Ruroni Kenshin;
  • Shouta Aoi, an actor known for his role as Ai Mikaze in the Uta no Prince-sama series and who, outside of voice acting, has performed as a solo artist and in theatre and live-action shows.

Artists returning to Singapore for I Love Anisong are May’n, SPYAIR and Wednesday Campanella. Altogether, this announcement totals eight artists, though it’s not the final lineup, with the full list of artists expected to be announced in the coming months.
