The tracker is also now more compact and durable, and comes with an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water – which makes it ideal for attaching on pet collars, luggage, bike collars and more stuff exposed to the elements.

The SmartTag2 has a Lost Mode that lets users input contact information via a message. Any user who comes across a lost item tagged by Galaxy SmartTag2 can scan the item tracker via NFC and see the owner’s message and contact information.
